Booking & Services

1. How far in advance should I book my wedding hair and makeup?

We recommend booking 12–18 months in advance. Many brides secure their hair and makeup shortly after booking their venue, as we’re considered one of the key vendors for your big day.

2. Do you require a deposit to secure my wedding date?

Yes! A 25% deposit and a signed contract are required to secure your date. This ensures your booking is officially confirmed.

3. Is there a minimum number of services required for booking?

Yes, but it depends on the package you choose! Please look through each package as they all differ. 

4. Do you offer both hair and makeup, or can I book just one service?

We offer both hair and makeup services, but we also have flexible options for brides who want only one service. Packages can be tailored to fit your needs.

5. What brands of makeup do you use? Are they suitable for sensitive skin?

We carefully curate our kits with a wide variety of professional, high-quality brands rather than relying on just one line. This allows us to select the perfect products for your unique skin type, tone, and any specific concerns. We always carry options that are suitable for sensitive skin, and we customize each application to ensure your look is not only flawless but also comfortable to wear all day. If you have specific allergies or sensitivities, we’re happy to work with you to accommodate them.

Trial & Preparation

6. Do you offer a bridal trial? When should I schedule it?

Yes! Every package includes a trial—it’s our chance to meet you, explore your vision, and perfect your look so you feel confident and stress-free on the big day. We usually recommend booking it 3–6 weeks before your wedding, but we’re happy to adjust the timing to what works best for you.

7. What should I bring or prepare for my trial appointment? 

We’ll send you a detailed Trial Prep Guide before your appointment so you know exactly how to get ready. It covers everything from how to prep your skin and hair to what inspiration photos to bring, making sure you get the most out of your trial experience.

Wedding Day Details

8. How long does hair and makeup take on the wedding day?

For brides, we typically allow about 90 minutes per service (hair and makeup), though depending on the style it can take anywhere from 1–2 hours. Bridesmaids are scheduled for 1 hour per service, while moms are usually booked for about 45 minutes per service. We’ll create a detailed timeline for your wedding morning to keep everything running smoothly and stress-free.

9. Will you travel to my getting-ready location? Are travel fees included?

Yes! Our team services Vancouver Island and Vancouver, and we’re happy to travel to your getting-ready location. Travel fees vary depending on your package and location—please see our pricing page for full details.

10. How do you keep everything on schedule the morning of the wedding?

We create a detailed, customized timeline for your wedding morning to ensure every service runs smoothly and on time. Our team works efficiently while still keeping the atmosphere calm and enjoyable, so you can relax and focus on celebrating

11. What happens if someone wants last-minute hair or makeup services on the day?

 If time allows, we’re happy to accommodate extra services on the spot. Any additional hair or makeup will be charged at our day-of rate and worked into the schedule without impacting the bride’s timeline.

12. Do you have a team for larger bridal parties?

Yes! We have a talented team of artists based on Vancouver Island and in Vancouver, making it easy for us to accommodate larger bridal parties and multiple services at once.

13. Can you create different looks for bridesmaids/mothers that still feel cohesive? 

Absolutely. While the bride’s look always sets the tone, we tailor each bridesmaid’s and mother’s hair and makeup to suit their features and style preferences. This ensures everyone looks and feels their best while still maintaining a cohesive, polished aesthetic.

14. What if I don’t normally wear makeup? Can you still make me look natural?

Our signature style is elevated, polished glamour, but always tailored to you. We want you to feel like yourself—just enhanced. Many brides worry about looking cakey, but that’s not in our vocabulary. While we don’t specialize in ultra-minimal “no makeup” looks, we’ll create a flawless, celebrity-worthy finish that still feels comfortable and authentically you.

We always do our best to accommodate additional services after booking, but this depends on availability and timing. We prioritize ensuring your wedding morning runs smoothly and never compromise quality by trying to squeeze in extra services.
